About this project

MARC is coordinating this long-term multi-jurisdictional strategy to support infrastructure, transportation and economic development along this corridor connecting four cities: Independence, Sugar Creek, Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas. Multiple organizations and government entities are coming together to thoughtfully develop a specific area in several phases. Funding for this study was secured as part of a bi-state effort by Rep. Emanuel Cleaver II and Rep. Sharice Davids through the Federal Transit Administration.
